Sustainable IT Workshop

IT presents many advantages and is a key lever in acting in favor of the green transition (e.g. energy modelling and management, communicating and raising public awareness, web platforms for carpooling or swop of objects, etc.). However, it is also the source of multiple environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas emissions of 459 kg CO2e per year per employee on average (Source : GreenIT Benchmark 2021).

The Mission for Energy Transition (MTE) invites you to attend the “Sustainable IT Workshop”, Tuesday 13th of September at 9:00 AM, at the Hotel Novotel Monte-Carlo (doors open at 8:30 AM) – registration mandatory (see below).

We will have the please to welcome Julien Dejanovic, Director of Digital Services at the Princely Government, as well as Déborah Thebault, founder of Gienov and representative of the Interministry Delegation in charge of the Digital Transition. During this workshop, our speakers will discuss carbon challenges of the IT sector and the Princely Government’s first measures. They will also present digital sobriety good practices that companies and their team members can adopt. On that occasion will be officially launched a sustainable IT Charter and Guide developed by the MTE in support of the National Pact member entities who wish to lead a digital sobriety approach.

Entrance is free…but there are only 60 seats available. The event will take place in French only.

Registration is mandatory at the following link: https://my.weezevent.com/atelier-numerique-responsable

If possible, we ask you to please avoid printing your tickets and to show it on your smartphone on the day of the event.

Hoping to welcome you then, we wish you a very nice day !
